If you want to check whether your chip is good or faulty, you can use ST-Link utility as shown in video cnv8bpl67uw cnv8bpl67uw
If your STM32 chip is clone (non-original), and you get "Could not verify ST device?" error, you can use ST-Link utility as shown in video Zim3ANT_tSE Zim3ANT_tSE
