The first guy in the kayak really just pissed me off honestly. I hate to say it, but he was a fool for putting himself in that situation…knowing he has a wife and young child at home who undoubtedly spent every waking moment worrying about him shows me that he was an incredibly selfish person with little to no regard for his families mental health, because even an idiot knows that losing a spouse and a parent is a life changing tragedy. A tragedy that in this case, could have been easily avoided.
If my daughter was mutilated in the jungle I would have employed mercenaries to go and burn down those villages!
Ok so I think someone followed them there cause there aren’t any cannibals and even if there were they don’t know enough about technology to delete a photo they have had to be stalked the photo token from the back of her head probably implies that she was hit from the back her foot mutilated so she wouldn’t be able to run away but that’s just what I think

I don’t know…. If the girls stumbled upon that remote village and the tribe had never seen other humans (being too deep in the rainforest), they would have no use of their modern items. No use for the phones. The cameras, etc. Could very well have been killed by them.

Digital night time photos usually contain a lot more image than is apparently visible. If you push up the individual primary colours it will reveal the full extent of what's in the image.

The deleted photo is the biggest red flag in the case of the missing Dutch girls that signifies foul play. The missing photo likely captured the abductors. And, yes, I believe there were probably two abductors because of how the missing deleted photo had no evidence of having ever been on the camera's SD card as it was found in one of the girl's bags.
I believe man #1 was going through the girls' camera pics after doing what they'd done with the two poor girls, and discovered the damning pic potentially identifying them as the abductors. So he showed man #2, and proceeded to delete the pic. Man #2 explained that deleting the pic only frees up space on the memory card to be overwritten by other pics, but the deleted pic's data still remains behind and is recoverable. Then man #1 proceeds to snap 90 seemingly random pics in the middle of the night in an attempt to overwrite the deleted pic. Man #2 explains that still doesn't guarantee that the deleted file had been overwritten.
So, ultimately, they used a computer to clone the SD card, and inserted the clone into the camera. The cloned card wouldn't have the deleted data on it, and it would appear as if the deleted photo had never existed.
The two men had already planned to make the girls' deaths appear accidental, so they needed all their belongings to be recovered in the ensuing searches. A missing SD card or smashed camera would be too suspect. Incidentally, the girl's bag with the camera in it was found in an area that had been previously thoroughly searched, indicating it had been placed there after the girls' deaths.
