I have a SUPER tight budget. I have an iPhone... and won't even consider upgrading to a solo camera until my channel is well established. I love ulanzi accessories; the most compact expandable selfie stick they have ($16 today), the MagSafe mount with cold shoe ($32 today), their tiny cold-shoe 'soft box' light (~$25), and a rode plug-in small shotgun for my lightning port ($79 today). 
I've spent a bit getting to my stripped-down accessories, but I'd say I have a good 95% of my use cases covered (not counting the phone - which I'd have anyway) for about $150. I am going to try out the budget wireless lavalier, tho -- I'm not crazy about my rode plug in (always afraid I'm going to bump it and break my iPhone charge port). You guys are great. I so appreciate your tips.

I bought a very expensive ASUS Gaming PC - almost $4,000 to try and up my game for making instructional and project related videos. I primarily use TechSmiths Camtasia because of the screen capture capability while walking through the use of the software. The PC - even with 32 GB on the Video card and in the PC and a 3TB SSD drive in the computer - still hangs up during editing and audio jumps around. Not sure if it is my editing software (Camtasia) or my PC.

So when this channel recommends the Macbook Air is the best way to edit videos with the M-1 Chip my mind starts going maybe that is one of my solutions. But then I think it only has 256GB of onboard storage. On my PC my programs take up that much memory. How can I possibly use for videos with GBs on the video itself. Does Think Media have courses on how to use the software and macbook limitations to actually use it to edit large videos. I need some basics not even related to YouTube itself. If I join ThinkMedia will I get that kind of information?
