I saw boats sink in the Indian River Inlet in Delaware back in 1977. I was only a little boy Standing on the jetty. I saw the Horror on the faces. I heard the cries for help. Fortunately, I saw there rescue by the boats in trail. Boat gone but crew and passengers okay. Years later I made several passes through that inlet. It was dicey. Everyone wore a life preserver . The boat was a 21 ' Thompson and the Skipper was experienced.
Way too many children riding up front in the bow. It’s a recipe for disaster.
