Do you have any neck alignment issues from the predrilled holes, like does the high e and low e have the same distance to the edge of the neck from the last fret? Thanks.
is that with a finish or unfinished?
The original neck is more peaky but the warmth has a smoother flatter response
You didn’t have to drill holes into the neck to screw into it?
I think the string action with roated maple to low,,to bright
Hello, your roasted maple neck is very beautiful. I also use the Squier Deluxe guitar, and I wanted to upgrade my neck. What are the specs for this neck?
Hey dude, I’m wanting to get some warmoth but scared about customs fees, do you mind saying how much you paid for it so I’ve got a rough idea? Thanks man
To my ears, the old neck has much more life in it. I started to think. Why not make the necks in aliminium, if you want them steady?
GREAT JOB! Im definitely orderin some Warmoth stuff
What finish did you get on that roasted flame maple neck?
everyone is talking about the new neck sound. but what really depends is the SS frets plus new strings lel. the rest is 100%feeling
I don’t understand people who go out of their way to say the neck, the wood, and other changes other than pickups don’t influence the tone. If that were true then you could take Fender pickups, put them in a Gibson, and it would sound the same. Ridiculous.
Even the Fender Custom Shop folks say the neck changes the tone. I changed the nut, bridge saddles, and string trees on mine and that had a very significant effect on the tone.
Thank you for demonstrating the very clear difference here.
I bought a Squier Bullet in a thrift shop two years ago, and I totally agree with you about it being a good place to start on modifying a guitar to better than you could get for $1000 or more. The only original parts left on mine are the neck, body, and tremolo minus the bridge saddles. I’m planning on replacing the neck in the next month or two and then I think I’m done making changes to this guitar.
Thanks again for demonstrating that the neck replacement isn’t just eye candy.
The warmoth neck changed the tone, it gave the guitar a much brigther tone, you can clearly hear it
hows the fret work?? Ive heard they dont finish the frets they leave it up to you?? I plan on having my strat with this neck Plekked so probably wont matter ..
COME CLARITy
Thats unbelievable.....what an awesome neck.
WHERE does one find such a beautiful t-shirt?!
Love your vids by the way!
How long did the neck take to arrive bro?
