I first used SeaFoam spray in a 2012 Chevy Avalanche 5.3L. I was unsuccessful with the smoke show at the end but I believe I did it incorrectly (I think it’s because I left the straw of the van fully extended, as opposed to cutting it down so the spray had more pressure towards the throttle plate). I just performed it on my 2007 Charger, I cut the straw down and forced it into the throttle more, let it soak for 10 minutes and started it. Originally I had a slight backfire and some smoke, it did throw an engine light but that quickly went away (presumably because of the MAF, even though I applied it after it) and gunned it going uphill, and it looked like someone set off 4 smoke bombs!! They weren’t kidding when they say it cleans! It’ll be interesting to see how much my fuel mileage increases! I plan to use SeaFoam again!
I'd put an advisory I cleaned my 04 ford 5.4 v8 fuel cleaned it out clogged caytlic converters

I just changed my MAF plugs could crank position sensor cam sensor and pcv valce added new ngk plugs and cleaned out my cct valve... I then used seafoam in the gas tank and the upper throttle body bottle sprayed as instructed waited about 15 minutes after when I started the car and took off there was so much smoke u couldn't see anything on my streets... Car runs like new now.... What exactly is in this stuff and how did it clean the inside of my intake so we'll. Do you recommend and oilf change early now

Does this clean the egr too?
Just don’t open the butterfly valve on throttle body by hand. Use the gas paddle. That’s just my experience.
can I just run my car straight on seafoam?
