Any Russian soldier that trusts Ukraine would have to be completely crazy. They are probably losing. Zelensky is completely corrupt. They will doubtless try to make you record messages to try and demoralize other Russian troops, and they will leave you with no country to return to.

The Russian troops need to start fragging officers that would turn them in for deserting and frag members of the Wagner Group. Basically they need to be the starting point of a revolt that would lead to entire formations walking off the line and heading for Moscow with the express mission of eliminating Putin and any of his handlers.
