Farewell...* † Gary Moore was found dead in February 06 2011, while on vacation at Costa del Sol, Spain. † - - - This is Gary Moore in amazing rendition of Jimi Hendrix´s Red House, for the Fender Stratocaster 50th anniversary concert, in Wembley Arena, 2004. Like I said, this stuff is amazing. There was only one version of this in YouTube, and the quality was not that good. So I uploaded mine, with better quality and widescreen vision, directly ripped from the original DVD. And to think that this unknown-for-me-at-the-time chubby guy would tear my face off playing amazingly well, with a sharp and killer tone, out of nowhere. The other presentations in this show were somehow boring, I was bored till he came in. NICE! : D Enjoy! 🤍 Fender's new American Vintage II series of guitars is pretty darned fantastic for those of us who would love to own a vintage instrument but cannot justify or generate the funds now required to do so. This rather excellent recreation of their 1961 Olympic White Stratocaster is going to find a long-term home with me. It is set up beautifully with full attention to period-correct detail as well as a sprinkling of modern appointments like the 5-Way switch and tone control for the bridge pickup. I love it and will be taking it on the road this week for its first tour of duty. Rock on.
