Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes. Add cream. Puree soup with an immersion blender or in batches in a traditional blender. If using a traditional blender, remember: • Only fill your blender 1/3 full. • Remove the centre insert in the lid of your blender to allow hot air to escape. • Cover 3⁄4 of the hole with a kitchen towel to avoid splashes. It turned out soooo yummy! On my latest baked oats recipe many of you asked It was possible in a microwave so I gave it a try. I was not super happy with the way it came out but I believe you can make it in the airfare as well for 7/8minutes. Will test next! I'm also making a delicious Tuscan kale and bean soup for lunch. which was amazing. As soon as the temperature dropped just the slightest I felt like making soup and this one definitely did not disappoint. I love fall so much and even tho it's not that cold in LA it still feels like fall with somewhat colder weather and all the fall decorations. For dinner I'm making cod with potatoes and green beans paired with the delicious Orange Gold Wine. It's perfect for when you invite your friends over for dinner since it's very light and fresh! Sautee the onions until transluscent. Then add garlic, celery and carrots and sautee for a couple of minutes. 2. Add the spices and stir for 1 minute. Add diced tomatoes and vegetable broth. When its cooking add sweet potato. 3. Put the lid on top and cook for 20 minutes. 4. Add the cannellini beans , kale and lemon juice and cook for another 5 minutes 5. Tools used: the best silicon muffin pans: 🤍 dutch oven: 🤍 Creamy Zucchini Pasta 500 grams of pasta 3-5 zucchini depending on size 1/2 cup reserved pasta water 4 tablespoons butter plenty of parmesan 3 cloves garlic fresh herbs to taste Saute garlic in olive oil on medium low. Add zucchini and cook down until pulpy for approx 20 min. Add a splash of water if necessary to steam rather than fry them. Cook pasta to -1min and reserve 1 cup pasta water. Add pasta to zucchini, adding splashes of pasta water until a creamy sauce forms. Finish with fresh herbs and parmesan. Butternut Squash Pasta recipe: 🤍 Maiale Al Latte (Pork Cooked in milk) 1 litre of milk or enough to mostly cover pork in a dutch oven handful of fresh sage and thyme salt and pepper pork tenderloin or pork shoulder Simmer pork tenderloin in milk until very tender with herbs, 1.5-3 hours. Remove meat and filter out herbs and milk solids which will have separated. Reduce gravy and thicken if desired. Fave yeasted waffle recipe: 🤍 Pear and Walnut Spelt Muffins: 1/2 cup ground walnuts (chop in food processor to coarse crumb) 1 1/3 cup spelt flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup packed brown sugar 2 tablespoons oil 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 (8-ounce) carton plain yogurt 1 large egg 1 1/2 cups finely diced peeled pear and banana or other fruit Preheat oven to 400°. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flour and next 4 ingredients (through salt) in a medium bowl; stir well with a whisk. Combine brown sugar and the next 5 ingredients (through egg) in a small bowl; add to the flour mixture, stirring just until moist. Fold in diced pear and banana. Spoon batter into 12 muffin cups coated with butter. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until muffins spring back when touched lightly in center and enjoy!
