Juan Cervantes - a Spanish Catholic bartender with an optimistic outlook. Juan is always laughing at himself, confident of his answers even when they are completely wrong. Early in the series, Juan speaks almost no English (apart from episode 2 where he describes Miss Courtney as "Plenty awesome, very good!") and answers everything with "por favor" (please), necessitating Giovanni to translate some key terms for him (as Spanish and Italian have many mutually intelligible words). His typical catchphrase is "s'alright!" and sometimes when he is corrected he says "Sorry, wrong number". Juan's English improves as the series goes on, but he remains one of the worst speakers, often speaking a mix of English and Spanish. He cares a great deal for Mr Brown, whom he considers almost as part of his family.

Thinking of fuzzing applications on OS X can quickly lead to a passing conversation of "ooh exotic Mac stuff", "lets fuzz the kernel" or it can otherwise not be thought of as an exciting target, at least for looking for crashes in stuff other than Safari or the iPhone. While there are some intricacies and nuance involved, workaround for security protections to enable debugging and finding tools that work and work well, this research will detail how it can be done in a reliable way and make the topic more tangible and easier to digest, kind of like how people think about using AFL on Linux: it "just works". We'll explore some of the overlooked attack surfaces of file parsers and some network services on Mac, how to fuzz userland binaries, and introduce a new fuzzer that makes setup and crash triage straightforward while poking at some Apple core apps and clients. Have you ever thought "This thing has got to have some bugs" but think twice because it's only available on Mac and not worth the effort? If so, you may now find yourself both more motivated and better equipped to do some bug hunting on the sleek and eventually accommodating Mac OS.

Open Innovation Lab and Changing the Culture - Jeremy Brown (Red Hat) OpenShift Commons Gathering Helsinki 2018 🤍
Jamila Ranjha (Series 1–3) - a stereotypical Indian housewife from Shimla. When she first joins the class she barely speaks any English - she rants in Hindi when Mr Brown asks her her name, and when she finally does understand she decides to write her name on the blackboard in Urdu because she cannot write it in English. Although she needs Ali to translate for her in the first series, by series 3 she shows a marked improvement and is able to communicate in English without needing any help. She often calls Mr Brown "Masterji" (Hindi roughly meaning "teacher" or "professor"), and her catchphrase early in the series is "gud hefening" (which is how she pronounces "good evening"). During class, she is often found knitting. She is shown to be a Christian in the episode "Guilty or not Guilty?", when she swears on the Bible to tell the truth. Moreover, she wears a cross around her neck from the 11th episode of the first season. But in an episode called "A Point of Honour", she says the true religion is Buddhism. Also, in the episode "I Belong to Glasgow", she is among the students who crossed themselves with Juan. (The others are Danielle, Max and Giovanni.)

We've got a really fun one today. I've got Jeremy Brown and I got to get your title, VP of Threat Analysis at Trinity Cyber. He's what we call folks a real White Hat. And first Jeremy, thank you for using your intelligence for good and not evil. Jeremy: Oh, absolutely. Yeah. Honored to be here. Thanks for inviting me. Jim: So, you're, what we call this purple teams guy and I love this because you hear about people talking about red team and blue team. What in the world is purple team? Jeremy: Yeah, to me and the team that I've built, we're not pen testers and purple team per se, but we have to incorporate elements of blue team, so defensive, and many of us understand and have been red teamers and offensive people in previous parts of our careers. So purple team is really combining both of those and learning how to further your strategy with that. So, whatever that means for you. Jim: Okay. I want to start out playing acronym bingo. And everybody that follows this podcast knows how much I love acronyms. So, I want to level that because I want to make sure that we understand, you know, we have some folks on here making this cloud journey. They're not security folks, right? So, they don't know when you talk about an IOC, and even the difference between IDs and IPS. So maybe you can kind of help some people in that space. Jeremy: Yeah, absolutely. I'll start with IOCs. I go back and forth on these some days they're the bane of my existence and other days, you know, they help with hunting and other things like that. And IOC stands for an Indicator of Compromise. You can think of these as three simple categories of things. These are domains, their IP addresses, and their malware hashes. And so, what they really mean are sort of post-compromise activity or things that you can see after the fact. And what they've really turned into is a way to sort of automate some parts of defense. So that's what they are, they're lists of, of good and bad things, if you will.
What happens when a company either doesn’t fully empower the Security team, or have one at all? Stuff like Goto fail, Equifax, unsandboxed AVs and infinite other buzz, or yet to be buzzed, words describe failures of not adequately protecting customers or services they rely on. Having a solid security team enables a company to set a bar, ensure security exists within the design, insert tooling at various stages of the process and continuously iterate on such results. Working with the folks building the products to give them solutions instead of just problems allows one to scale, earn trust and most importantly be effective and actually ship. There’s a whole security industry out there with folks wearing every which hat you can think of. They have influence and the ability to find a bug one day and disclose it the next, so companies must adapt both engineering practices and perspectives in order to ‘navigate the waters of reality’ and not just hope one doesn’t take a look at their product. Having processes in place that reduce attack surface, automate testing and set a minimum bar can reduce bugs therefore randomization for devs therefore cost of patching and create a culture where security makes more sense as it demonstratively solves problems. Nvidia is evolving in this space. Focused on the role of product security, I’ll go through the various components of a security team and how they each interact and complement each other, commodity and niche tooling as well as how relationships across organizations can give one an edge in this area. This talk balances the perspective of security engineers working within a large company with the independent nature of how things work in the industry. Attendees will walk away with a breadth of knowledge, an inside view of the technical workings, tooling and intricacies of finding and fixing bugs and finding balance within a product-first world. = Jeremy is an security professional largely focused on application security along with vulnerability research and development. He has led critical projects at large software and service companies for several years as well as publishing research in the security community. Working in many different areas including exploit mitigations, scalable fuzzing, low-level mobile and web security has sharpened his ability to dive deep and understand which areas are important. He has the proven execution for scaling security across organizations, providing comprehensive coverage for critical services, reduction of attack surfaces and automating security at all stages in the development lifecycle. Continuing interests include static analysis, OS internals and all things fascinating in the field of computer security.

For the T3 boom, you need the T3 adapter first. Then you can use any NA section (largest lattice), 6m NA with Eccentric, Hydraulic Jib, or Luffing Jib. Then you can attach the NA to NM Adapter and attach NM sections. Then the NM Head. For longer lattice booms, attach the NM to NI adapter. Then NI lattice sections with the NI head.

The World Health Organization says the coronavirus pandemic is now accelerating in every major city on the planet. But, before the coronavirus, there was the Spanish Flu of 1918, which killed millions around the globe. Today, we contend with seasonal flu, which kills about 500-thousand people each year. For centuries, scientists have studied these kinds of infectious respiratory illnesses, which tend to circulate in the winter months.
