No-Knead Semolina Bread Recipe This is a standard No-Knead Bread Recipe that I have adapted specifically for my tastes; I love the chewy texture the semolina flour provides. For a softer bread, substitute the semolina flour for bread flour. Or, for a more heartier bread, try whole wheat or rye. Add seasonings, too! Below is the basic recipe I use, which I have found works the best for my climate. Leave a comment below to let me know how you have adjusted the recipe to fit your tastes! 2 cups Bread Flour 1 cup Semolina Flour 1/4 tsp Yeast 1 tsp Salt 1.5 cups Water -Combine all ingredients into a large bowl. -Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set in a warm place to rise for 18-24 hours. Dough will double in size. -Remove dough from the bowl and place onto a well-floured surface. -Sprinkle more flour onto the dough and fold the dough over itself three times. -Shape the dough into a ball and cover with a towel. Dough can also be placed back into a well floured bowl and covered. -Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. -Place a lidded dutch oven pot into the oven for 20 minutes. -Remove pot from oven and sprinkle in semolina flour. Corn meal can be used as well. -Add your dough to the pot and replace the lid. -Place dutch oven back into the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes. -After 30 minutes, remove lid from the dutch oven and bake the bread uncovered for 15 minutes. -Remove bread from dutch oven and let the loaf cool until room temperature. -Slice your bread and enjoy! Keep aside. - In the same frying pan or skillet, heat the olive oil and butter on a medium flame. - Add in the paprika flakes and coriander leaves. - Stir in the potatoes and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes or until they turn light brown in colour. - Sprinkle the semolina and salt and mix well. Continue cooking for a minute or two. The semolina forms a lovely crust over the potatoes. - Serve hot. Quick and tasty flat bread from which the whole world will go crazy. I'm sure anyone can make it! Friends, write to me in the comments, did you like the recipe? 🤗😍 Recipe and ingredients: 2 1/4 cups flour (360 gr). Add 1 sachet of baking powder (10 g). Sift the flour. Semolina 4/5 cups (130 g). Stir all the ingredients. 1 1/5 cups boiling water (300 ml). Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar. Stir. Add hot water and stir with a spoon. Knead the dough by hand for 2 minutes. Cover the dough for 20 minutes. Grate 200 grams of mozzarella cheese (or other cheese of your choice). Divide the dough into 4 parts. Make a ball out of each piece. Brush each ball with olive oil. Cover the dough with clingfilm and let it rest for 15 minutes. Make a thin cake out of the ball with your fingers. During the stretching process, the dough may tear a little into small holes. It's okay, you don't need to do anything about it. Melt 125 grams of butter (1/2 cup). Brush the rolled out dough with melted butter. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Roll the dough into a log and press it down a little. Do not use a rolling pin, do everything with your hands. Make a flat shape about 8 inches in diameter (20 cm). Grease the heated pan with butter. Cook flat bread over low heat. Brush the top with butter and flip to the other side. Cook for about 5 minutes, flipping from side to side until golden brown. Cheesy flat bread is ready, it's very tasty!
