Something you definitely need to know about all of the Insta360 360 cameras is that they create a 15 second gap in your footage when you record longer than 30min.
One thing they don’t tell you is that the video and audio gets off sync after recording 20min. I’ve got 2 replacement cameras and all 3 cameras have the same issue. Buyers beware.
The lenses sticking out is a major problem for scratches every time you put it down

Which micro sd cards are the best ones to use with X3?
(There is a list - given by Insta360 support - of micro sd cards which are compatible with X3. The problem is, the list is too short and can easily create annoying questions like: now that Sandisk Extreme V30 A2 256 GB and Sandisk Extreme Pro V30 A2 1 TB are compatible, should we suppose that Sandisk Elite Extreme Plus V30 A2 1 TB is compatible too?)
DONT BUY THIS INSTA360 X3 : I bought this camera recently. It has overheating issue. No one saying this in review.... all are paid reviews.... initially I thought it was a defect and I raised for replacement. They gave new one after many fights and discussion... again I'm having the same issue in new one also. I raised this issue to customer care.. they are saying it is the behaviour of this camera... I was terribly disappointed.. No one speaking about this in any reviews......
Great video and especially pointing out some different things to consider as you mentioned different from other review videos. I am slightly torn as I like the x3 for the bullet mode and the 'me' mode etc I am considering using this for DJ entertainment and am worried about the low light situation. Naturally I am in spaces where the lighting is lower (not completely) off. I am curious when you went into the elevator or lower lighting you stated that you can toggle between standard and another setting in low light did you find it made the video sharper? I have looked at the RS one inch edition as well but I don't like some of the lack of other video features. Curious your thoughts....

PLease if you care about your money DO NOT PURCHASE this camera or any camera from this business. This is one of the unbelievable answers from insta 360 customer support: "Our engineers say that if you use 3K resolution to shoot video, it may be recognized by Studio as slow motion video even if your shooting mode is standard video. This is why sometimes it has sound, sometimes it has no sound. By speeding up the video speed 4 times, it is possible to restore sound." What? This gotta be a joke. I would not want anyone waiting time and money. Go Go pro.

We need to add that the X3 does not do Webcam, and the 5.7K's you can't really export on that format...? at least I do not know how

I've been using and filming with it recently. How to you get rid of the stich lines? My stich lines are very bad even in me mode.
The biggest problem is slow editing when blogging, as the app does not show a waveform track to quick search for voice clips, and crop the silence.
If you've got one camera to buy outside of a drone or a DSLR, do you buy the X3 or RS One and why?
