The iGPUs in these Radeons are similar to Intel iGPUs in performance. Intel’s UHD 770 iGPU in 12th Gen and 13th Gen K and non K CPUs are actually better at gaming than these iGPUs. AMD is including these for troubleshooting mostly because if a company wants to use a 7950x, they are going to have a discreet GPU as well. The office PC would actually benefit more from a 5600G or 5700G or better still 6800U APUs.
My previous gaming PC was AMD and it requires a discrete GPU to work. Getting a large GPU seated can be a bit tricky. I never had issues with that but when I got an even bigger GPU on my new Intel gaming PC. Having that 770 was so convenient. I was able to post it with out bulky GPU installed. I new that everything was good and if it didn’t post with GPU installed. Then I would only need to troubleshoot GPU. I didn’t have to as it worked without a hitch, but the peace of mind it gave me was well worth the extra 20 bucks vs the non iGPU version of CPU.
It’s great to see AMD put “weak” iGPUs in all CPUs. Something Intel has been doing for a long time.

Soooo 5700G was a good buy then. I was worried cus I bought 5700g knowing it'll take months before I would be able to buy 6600 xt.

What nobody mentioned but actually is REALLY helpful: All Ryzen 7000 series iGPUs have AV1 en- & decoding. You can basically use the GPU to play and the inbuilt iGPU to perform the streaming.
5600g gpu better then 7700x
Man honestly the performance was great, I’ve used Vega and intel integrated graphics both and I can say this is the best I’ve ever seen from integrated graphics. I went discrete and never looked back lol.

How better would the Ryzen 9 7950X Raphael fare in comparison to the 7700X you showed here?
Damn, I'm honestly suprised the fire strike one is similar to my 3500u, but the intel i3 1215u one is double the performance. (mendiceno laptops will probably be worse considering computers run at such a higher wattage)
The Mendicino chips really aren't meant for gaming. Honestly a bit sad ngl. Even the best case scenarios look quite grim.
You can upgrade the iGPU VRAM to 8gb to not give it as much of a bottleneck.
Your AIO is installed incorrectly, radiator pipe should be down.
An RDNA2 APU might just be the core of my next build. Really impressive performance here for just 2 CU’s.
