Yours was the video that helped me to decide to go for the M1 vs the M2. I really wanted the gold color, but was afraid I'd be sacrificing too much in terms of long-term daily-use performance (no rendering) and features. Seems to not be the case! Thank you, now I can get the color I actually wanted without worry ^^

I did the read/write test on my m2 MacBook Air. It got 2,690 for write and 2,459 for read. 512 SSD does fix the slow SSD problem. I do wonder how the M1 Air got 2,729 for read.

I still bought macbook air m1 (256 GB SSD) because it's simple, effective and a performer. It's fine as I am a normal user. Completely satisfied with it...

I'm confused. Towards the end of this video, you say, "You shouldn't buy a MacbookAir in the first place.", while in the MacBook Air M2 vs. Macbook Pro, you don't say that at all. You actually advice buying an M2 MacBook Air if you like the design, etc. What gives?

Im planning to upgrade my early 2015 Macbook air, and I'm not sure if I should get the M1 or the M2. M1 is appealing to me because it's definitely cheaper. While M2 is appealing to me because of the magsafe and of course future proofing.
