When I go and turn on mic play back, it sounds like straight static. Use the mic all the time on my Xbox. It’s fine. Just built my pc and idk wtf Is going on

Hello , I have a mic 3.5mm jack with 4 rings on connector , when it's connected to cell phone it works when connected to laptop (Acer) nothing , I followed your instructions thoroughly , I suspect it could be my unit . Good Video Thanks

My mic is picking up when i tap on it etc but not when i speak , also it picky up in the sound settings but not anything else (Discord, Roblox etc )

Thanks man. I was using a USB port on my USB hub but I guess I wasn't getting enough power for the mic. I plugged it directly into my PC's USB and it connected :)
