So with the Z7, since it is at higher resolution, if I use a DX lens and only part of the sensor would that be comparable to the z6 resolution if the partial sensor picture is scaled up?
I am getting flown out to shoot a project this weekend in New Hampshire. I have DX lenses that are my only fully automatic lenses. The client wants a 1080 output. I am assuming that if I shoot 4k and downscale to 1080 that I will still see sharp results. ??
Hi! I've got a D750 and a D610. Both of them give me the option of using DX lenses in FX mode. It works very well for the 35mm 1.8g DX. Now I've bought a Z6ii and I can't find a configuration that allows me to do the same thing. Do you know if it's not possible or there's a hidden setting that I'm not finding inside the menu? )=
I'm not an expert but I would think using that the DX lens would give you better performance with action shots when using burst mode.
Soo.. I'm fairly new so please forgive my ignorance. Could anyone answer this?
Is it still 35mm just at 10 MP? Or is it a 50mm at 10MP??
Thanks in advance anyone!!
Be1iMYqkHv0&t=1m30s 1:30 thank you
Where is the content on Image quality? Does 10MP work? Of Course it works - but against WHAT?

Hey Raymond , thank you for this review , as a Z 6’er I was toying with the idea of picking up a 16-50 Dx lens . I also wanted to ask you about your audio / mic set up for the Z 6 . Great sound , was wondering what you’re using ?
but why if i use an adaptor from m42 to nikon F i can use it in fx?
Is there a compatibility list for lenses that work with the ftz adapter ? Id like to get some tokina tamron and sigma glass for my z50 not just the nikkor.
so have you shot with your D500 and put it against the Z6 in DX mode? Just curious on how it compares?
excellent video about using DX lenses on Z6 cameras iam a nikon shooter for the past 35 years from film days to digital Dslr in FF and APSC and have lots and lots of prime and zoom lenses in FF and DX, now iam thinking of buying a Z6 and Z7 camera with s lenses also, thanks for the videos
I am waiting to see the quality of this new DX 50 250. With the Z7 there are still 20 Mpix and a cheep not too heavy lens. Let´s see!
