We all want to 'settle' and in the quest for the same, spend a whole lifetime - unsatisfied and unsettled. The reason, we seek material settledness which is seeped in Maya/illusion and ever shifting goals, whereas, real settledness comes through self-settledness (samadhana)

Contentment is bliss. The serenity one finds on the face and persona of someone who is contended can never be found elsewhere and has nothing to do with material wealth or circumstances. They have transcended both.

Detached, their attachments are momentary and only purely in affection and goodness. No expectations, no long-term material bindings. Rooted in reality, they understand the temporaryness of life here on earth, and care not for something after. Every thing is here and now. Settled!
