Kate wowed in a stunning white dress and was seen donning the sparkling Lover's Knot Tiara - an item that had been a favourite of Diana - and a set of pearl earrings that had also belonged to her late mother-in-law for tonight's reception with a delegation from South Africa. With the dress, she wore the sash and star of the Royal Victorian Order and the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II. Catherine wore diamonds and pearls with the dress, echoing the color and embellishments of the gown. She reached for her go-to tiara, Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara, for the occasion.
