I've been trying to get a color done that no one seems to do. Basically, the Tom Anderson "Appeal of Teal" color, but with black bursted edges, turquoise center, and a hint of gold right in the middle. I bet you could make that happen on your channel. I been obsessing over this color and even mocked it up in photo editors for months now.
I've watched quite a few of your videos, thanks for putting them out there. I am wondering if you sand the sanding sealer before a truoil finish? If so what grit are you using?
This is literally “Deep Ocean”. The rest of the finishes out there are aiming for this but only get the name. This is everything!

This body looks amazing! I did a similar dye finish technique on a tele a while back. It was emerald that bursted to a dark navy on the edges with dark navy sides and back. I didnt use Angelus brand dyes and my results were not as good. Your finishes are amazing, especially on that gorgeous angel stair figured wood!
