Suhr really builds a strong guitar....
The Fralin blues Specials are a little louder and bigger sounding. The FL Suhr pickups are cleaner and brighter with a lower output. The Fralin Blues Specials are closer to the SRV sound.
hello. have you tried fralin blues specials? I'm curious how do they compare.
Cant say i hear the difference in the push/pull engaged vs disengaged.
Hey I think that the vintage 6 screw have in someway a better tone my feel !! But just to know Mark Lucas what its your preference in bridges on the strats the vintage one or the modern 2 point???/?
What a great player you are Mark!
Push-pull on Suhr guitars is NOT a thick/thin switch. Your guitar has John's excellent Silent Single Coil system that does not effect tone at all. The push/pull simply turns the SSC on and off which gives the purist the option for hum instead of silent (without effecting tone).
@blooperjohn Yes that is for the noiseless system. The push-pull knob turns the noiseless system on and off.
is that push-pull tone pot a special order? I can't rind another classic with that.
man, what's the reason of having that split pot ? there's no difference in tone at all... isn't it the pot for the back plate silent ?
@luuvong081 I like the ML Classic's that is what the FL Classic's are called now.
Nice!! My guitar is similar, fantastic guitar!
I prefer the 6 point bridge, they are more resonant than a 2 point fender delux. And those stainless steel frets are great cause you'll never wear them out. And the solid ash, nice!!!
