it really makes me wonder why it does it like this... are there not plenty insects going after sweet scents and bright colours? seems a lot easier than having to accurately immitate another species...
is this the ecuivalent of "i'm going to do it my way" and then fumbeling your way into something that seems to work somehow, but would be much easier if you were just doing like all the rest?
