Oh, look, more evidence that a local approach of "let muh states do it" is generally just a bad idea overall, not just with abortion. These sneaky initiatives to legalize Marijuana that include secret benefits to big corporations is only more evidence we need federal action on drug legalization that is sweeping and based on fundamental rights to ones own body (this would also be used with abortion protections). Amnesty is also needed to those wrongfully imprisoned on drug charges and possession of marijuana. Restitution for people whose lives were destroyed by the drug war and a plan to end the drug war which has killed millions. Tax money from drug sales must be set and locked for reinvestment into communities that were devastated by the drug war, progressive funding based on the disparity of the destruction like say of minority communities during the crack "epidemic".
