I hope the three dogs were adopted into a loving homes. They should be given the credit for her luck too.
It's completely a wrong reporting. The girl was founded in Shree Bhumi, Kolkata on one midnight. Three street dogs guarded her for the rest of the night. Next morning when this news got circulated and Mithun was also informed via Subhash Chakraborty (Sports And Transport Minister back then) he flew to Kolkata and completed the legal procedures and adopted her.

Another remarkable person is Sudha Murty ( Infy). She saved a girl running away from her toxic step mother. Hiding on the Hubli Blore train with no ticket. Sudha bot her a ticket and then put her in a girls' hostel, paid her bills and tuition etc. Today that girl has a good job in USA. But hasn't forgotten SM whom she meets when ever she visits India!
