Hi All, while installing hypervisor kickstart on bladecenter BCS01 an error comes up " firstdisk not found, no suitable disk found. Although I have space enough and blades are showing connected.

Hi i'm planning to set up a render farm with 8 HP BL460 blades and 35 workstations.
All dual Xeon E5-2680 v4 14 cores each

which machine do i have to install the EXSi to? and which machine for the client app?

And the machine has client app installed should be installed OS with the render software right?

This will help me to figure how many VM licenses we need

Great tutorial, thanks. One question though: I have an HP Proliant N54L NAS, I have installed a second NIC which worked well when it was a Linux box, but now I want to reuse N54L system as a virtual security pen lab and ESXi5.5 doesn't appear to see it. Any ideas?? ESXi 6.5 doesn't see it either only the embedded NIC is visible.

hi, which comes first. configuring raid arrays or installing exi? just little bit hesitant on what to do first. and also, can the exi ,vmspere, and all the vmclient workstations be in ONE single server? I am trying to install my practice server in one hp proliant dl380 gen 5 server. sorry noob question.

Just thought I'd mention you can access the ESXi server via VMWare workstation as well and it's a bit easier to use that way too.
