Some 5G users in the UK are finding the next generation of mobile internet slow and patchy, three years after it launched. But the industry insists, still only three years in to a 10-year rollout plan, everything is fine. 5G has received lots of investment from the mobile operators and government and is hailed as a faster, more reliable connection. But it has faced several setbacks. The company OpenSignal said that the 5G experience had been oversold by over-enthusiastic marketeers, but added that it was still an improvement on 4G. 5G is dangerous and unnecessary.
I have s22 5g
I am using 5G and it is much faster than 4G, hopefully this year 2023, i will remove my 4G devices.
5g is not useful to most people
5G network has not yet develop in the U.S. I believed all the major phone carries are still broadcasting in 4G signals but they advertised 5G technology. This is a fail advertisement they are doing. drive 50 miles out of the city and you' will have NO signals. what a F%$King joke.
simple answer is UK has not fully implemented 5G hell we removed most of the 5G and 4G implemented by Huawei in 2020, its not worth getting 5G phone if your area does not have enough 5G towers in your area
it is just a scam to trick you into buying new phone paying more for your subscription!
the lesson is: for every purchase you make, you can't buy something else. Varied sources of income is wise and especially living within your means. Think about taxes and how you get your income. I made $160K combined net last year and paid no Federal taxes. I own a 23 y/o vehicle because that's all I need and I like it well enough and I can do anything I want to. I can pay my bills with no stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints but ideas to help multiply sources of income will be nice
True 5g suck marketing strategy on phone Maker
4G Is The Best!!!
I'm no expert but i think it's all controlled by the cellular mast your handset connects to. They may have QoS (Quality of service) applied to them allowing them to switch which band on the frequency spectrum your phone connects to, thus throttling the speed. I have a 4G modem and on power up it connects band 1 which i think is the highest speed but then the mast recognises that it's not a phone connected then lowers me down to a slower band. Some operators guarantee higher speeds but they are expensive. With the lesser expensive sim only contracts, you are not priority and so you will rarely be on band 1.
5G sucks.
Just be patient he says, I wish the networks were patient with increasing the cost.
5G WAS MADE TO KILL THE BRAIN, I'LL USE SMOKE SIGNALS WEN 5G FINILLY TEKS ALL NETWORKS OUT, GOVERNMENT ARE REPTILIANS & ALIENS THEY RULE THE WORLD I RULE MI FUCK 5G
OMG, BBC is so in denial, keep on mentioning 5G problem is the same around the world.....NO ITS NOT! Singapore and China enjoy a very reliable 5G services for a long time now.!
Funny how BCC could not mentioned anything about Huawei and how UK made the wrong decision , and until today no government officials could find any security threats to Huawei equipment.
BBC , u suxk
To me it all seems like just another excuse to charge more money for a service they've managed to convince us we all "need". Remember when making a phone call meant you had to be at home at the little table or in a booth in public? 5G isn't there yet, IF it ever becomes "mainstream" I might be convinced. Right now, I believe they had to get a number of people convinced to use it just to get it up and started, I'm not keen to be a guinea pig.
I've got TMobile it's the worst program between that and YouTube centering there keeping me blind
Don't trust the science.
And so the telecom con goes on. People, do not fall for any of it until any new system is quality-approved by an independent authority
