Too political, like just because it has minority main character doesn’t mean it couldn’t be a normal movie. It had so much potential.

Eddie Murphy did a great job playing a racist asshole Father. He’s a good actor besides a comedian. I honestly hope he wins best supporting actor for this role. He’s been my favorite comedian since I was a kid.

I like how this blended 2 extremes plus the flaws in both cultures. I had tears in my eyes laughing. This was too much flavor for the bland "mayonnaise" folks around the world in this day and age. Watching it again laughing Soo hard man. I like this movie a lot.
